What's the difference between an employment visa and an investor visa?
Employment visas are sponsored by a UAE employer. Investor (partner) visas are issued to company shareholders. Golden Visas are long-term (10-year) residencies for qualifying investors, specialists or talent.
Can I sponsor my family on a normal residency?
Yes, subject to a minimum salary (typically AED 4,000–10,000 depending on the visa type and dependants) and a tenancy contract.
How long does a new residency take?
Entry permit: 3–7 days. Medical and Emirates ID biometrics: about 1 week. Final stamping: typically 2–3 weeks end-to-end.
