The United Arab Emirates has taken a monumental leap forward in its healthcare journey with the official launch of the "Al Shifa Digital Health Platform," a unified national system designed to integrate and streamline patient care across all Emirates. Unveiled on April 29, 2026, the platform is set to revolutionize how healthcare services are delivered, accessed, and managed, positioning the UAE as a global leader in digital health innovation.

A New Era of Integrated Healthcare

Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH), and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Al Shifa represents a significant stride towards achieving the UAE’s Vision 2030 for a world-class healthcare ecosystem. The platform will facilitate seamless data exchange between clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and patients, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to medical treatment and wellness. This initiative is expected to drastically improve patient outcomes, reduce administrative burdens, and enhance the overall efficiency of the healthcare sector.
