What You'll Do

• Provide expert neurological consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history, neurological examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists or neurosurgical interventions when necessary.
• Manage acute neurological emergencies and chronic progressive neurological diseases.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals, including neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and radiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and meticulous patient records in compliance with DHA regulations and clinical best practices.
• Participate in continuous professional development and medical education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurological science and patient care.

Requirements

• Residency or Fellowship in Neurology from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Neurology.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience as a consulting Neurologist.
• Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
