The Role: Dermatologist
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join a prestigious medical facility in Dubai. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, performing various dermatological procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological consultations, examinations, and diagnoses for adult and pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic skin disorders, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and infectious skin diseases.
- Perform a variety of dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, laser treatments, chemical peels, and cosmetic injections (e.g., Botox, fillers).
- Educate patients on skincare best practices, disease prevention, and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with DHA regulations and clinic policies.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists to provide integrated patient care and referrals when necessary.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or equivalently qualified Dermatologist with significant clinical experience, particularly within the UAE or GCC region. You should possess excellent diagnostic abilities, strong procedural skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. A solid understanding of cosmetic dermatology alongside medical dermatology is highly advantageous. We are looking for a professional who is adaptable, culturally sensitive, and committed to delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid DHA Professional License as a Specialist Dermatologist or eligibility to obtain one.
- Board certification in Dermatology (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience in dermatology.
- Proficient in both medical and cosmetic dermatological procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a significant advantage.
